Resin zipper 

Features: The resin zipper has tough texture, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, rich colors, and a wide temperature range. In addition, because the upper and lower planes of the chain teeth have a larger area, it is beneficial to inlay diamonds or gems on the plane, making the zipper more beautiful and luxurious, doubled in value, and becoming a practical craft ornament.  

Disadvantages: Due to the large particles of the chain teeth, there is a sense of roughness, and the smoothness of the zipper is slightly worse (slightly inferior) than other types of zippers of the same type (nylon zippers, metal zippers).  

Scope of application: clothing with thick fabrics, jackets (leisure clothes), ski shirts (cold clothes), down jackets, children's clothes (coats), work clothes, military training clothes, ordnance cover bags, etc.  

Nylon zipper 

Features: The nylon zipper is soft, the surface is smooth, and the color is bright and colorful. The most prominent features are light weight, thin chain teeth, and flexibility. Among them, the waterproof zipper is also a branch of the nylon zipper, which is a nylon zipper that has undergone some special treatments: PVC film, TPU film, waterproof agent soaking, coated waterproof zipper and so on.  

Disadvantages: Polyester monofilament is easy to age, and the application range for high and low temperature is narrow.  

Scope of application: Nylon zippers are widely used in all kinds of clothing and bags, especially underwear and high-end clothing with thin fabrics. Among them, invisible zippers and double-bone zippers are the best choices for women's skirts and pants. The woven zipper has no center line, which makes the chain teeth thinner and softer, and will not arch the placket of the trousers, making it the first choice for high-end trousers.  

Metal zipper 

Features: durable, soft, elegant and solemn.  

Disadvantages: The chain teeth are easier to fall off and shift than other types of zippers. Due to the high price of raw materials, they are more expensive than other types of zippers. Among them, aluminum zippers are a bit weaker than copper zippers of the same type. However, after surface treatment, it has the decorative properties of imitating copper and multi-color. Because the price is lower than that of copper, its sales price has a certain competitive advantage.  

Scope of application: high-end jackets, leather clothes, ski shirts, down jackets, denim clothes, casual clothes, cold-proof clothes, handbags, etc.

Zipper shopping

Fabric tape: The fabric tape is evenly dyed, free from stains, scratches, and soft to the touch. The tape should be wavy in the vertical or horizontal direction.  

Teeth: The surface of the teeth should be smooth, with a soft hand feeling when opened, and less noise.  

Slider: The self-locking slider can be opened easily and securely without slipping off.  

Applied cloth: The cloth is fastened to the cloth tape, which is not easy to break or fall off.
